day 11 Pin practise....

Soap Clouds.....for today's practice...it ACTUALLY WORKS!!! & it is super cool...it really does feel like clouds

The kids loved watching GROW! We only put it in for maybe 30 sec. to 1 min. & you can reheat it & it will continue to grow again....We used "Ivory" soap...this was a fun one!

eeewwwww....GAK!

So, I was taking pics of making our GAK, when I decided to do a video...(my kids thought it was hilarious to blow raspberries into the GAK once it was made...to which it made some wonderfully LOUD & obnoxious farting sounds!) & my camera let me know I was taking pics w/o the memory card in it...so, you will get the finished product pics of my kids being....well, kids!

Not sure why my pics are doing this...but will get to the bottom of it soon....Anyway....thank you Laura @ http://www.cometogetherkids.com/2010/08/gak.html.....It is super weird, feels like rubber & the process from glue to GAK literally is almost instantaneous...very fun stuff....should keep em busy for a couple MINUTES!!!! :p
Now Pinterest...what's for dinner?

WOW...how the days are flying bye.....

Apparently I am not so good at this blog updating thing...I promise to do better...then, I sometimes forget to take pics of my PINNING Practice, so you'll have to be patient with me...however, Rita is a babe & handling FB extremely well considering the last week she had! So, regardless..I am pinning the last couple of days (beside the reeses pb cup schmoe's-per buzzlight year-we had Sunday night..forgot the pic! sorry)
Honey Mustard Chicken...my 9 year old made! Next time I want to marinade them, but other than that, they were yum!
Bleach pen shirts....the first attempt didn't work at all...my bleach en was not bleachy anymore, so I bought a couple more & they worked..a little too good! They bled a lot, so the second attempt was not so great either, but my buddy wants to retry so, we may be pro's by the 20th shirt!

Noodle marble run has actually kept mine entertained for a couple hrs....so, score one for that!

Yes, I know this is lame & takes no effort, but it was really needed, so I did it anyway!
(toilet paper rolls)

Day 3 of 30

Soooo, yes it is day 3 & no you didn't miss 1 or 2....I just hadn't posted pics yet....However on our FB page you can catch a glimpse & be added to the growing numbers of those who are accepting our challenge too!

So DAY 1:
The Ultimate dessert...you have all seen it....& it is every bit as good as it looks...especially w/ vanilla ice cream! Obviously I used muffin tins & they work like a charm....however, take them out when they are cooled completely, mine crumbled a bit, just a bit, when they were still warm...although they are super yummy, warm! The kids didn't really like the first set...I got the fudgy brownie mix & I think the chocolates didn't go together or something, because the kids said they tasted like dirt!  So, I tried w/ milk chocolate & they liked em'

DAY 2
This was a quick one...nails...I always see these cool ways of doing nails & thought I would try one of em....these are actually a bit different than the ones I saw, which were clear w/ the glitter...

DAY 3
Chicken turnovers....or chicken crescent rolls....yum & quick....although I use canned chicken. I used to cook the chicken breast first & then cut it up & add it to the cream cheese...took at least 30 min. longer, so switched to canned & it tastes great too!

Sassy Pants On Today!!

So this has to be one of my favorites from Pinterest.....& that is so true of us...sassy pants on & ready to get going on all the pins we have seen that we want to try out!
We are always using the fabulous website Pinterest.com to make & try new things or to chuckle and be inspired, so we decided that it would be awesome to do a 30 day challenge...first off to keep the kids busy this summer & second to keep us from going in sane!
We wanted to try different things & give our own little reviews on them, because let's face it...things do not always turn out as planned (like my stuffed peppers, still sad about that one!), or they aren't really as easy as directed....so we want to take the challenge (& invite you too!) to see how things really work out.....so, for 30 days we are doing a project, trying a new recipe, or craft project from our addiction to Pinterest.com! If you are not affiliated or invited to the site yet...let us know, we'd love to add you....hopefully you will see something on here that you might want to try or you have tried, & if you are taking the challenge, let us know!
Ready to start your practicing??
